Québec Province aka: Quebec

Canada and Mexico are the only “foreign” countries I have been to and what I enjoyed about Quebec was how it was so drastically different than the US and even other parts of Canada I have been to.

Never go to Québec in the summer. It was soooo hot there, and my dad and I, who are bother sensitive to the heat, were burning up. Besides that, everyone spoke French, and we would have been stranded in the middle of nowhere if my mom hadn’t been close to fluent in French. And still, people didn’t know what she was saying half the time. I’m sure if she spoke French like she was from Québec, then people would have been more willing to help, but we were there for one day and then drove back to New York.

Me and my friend rebec were in geo, and she said that kinsel was from tinsel (Not real) so i said she was from quebec so we are gonna go one day.

The first time I visited Quebec I was a young boy. I went with my parents and maternal grandparents to see the World’s Fair in Montreal. In subsequent years I would visit Montreal again, and go for the first time to Quebec City and Hull.

When I went to Quebec I was going to vist my cousin and it was so fun. If you ever go to Quebec take a plane don’t drive there.

Even if “all” you do is spend a few days doing all the tourist-y things; you will have a great time! Take a bus tour to get in several must see places like Botanical Gardens,Olympic Park & more—all for one ticket!
Downtown carriage rides, shoot the rapids in a boat from old montreal side. Very navigable area, excellent subway.

I have been three times. None was so memorable and kitschy as the time we did every touristy thing we could find! Take a bus tour to all the must see places. Lots of photos—Botanical Gardens, Astrodome/Olympic Park, the big Cathedral, oooo what is the name, We saw some devout kneeling one step at a time to have thier prayers reach the heavens.

Later in old montreal ( or there about) was a super fun boat ride in the rapids. Don the yellow gear and get splashed! haha.

Finish with a carraige tour around the city, a quaint downtown hour!

Was during the succession vote in the 90’s. It was late October (we spent halloween there which was weird because they don’t/didn’t celebrate it) and there were absolutely no tourists there that we could find, really a great time to be there. The dollar had huge value as well and my travel partner and I had trouble trying to spend $5 for breakfast for the both of us. On one of the last days there it was snowing :o)

was with a school trip and went shopping. Good prices based on the US dollar value. Would love to go back at some point
