British Columbia aka: BC

Well, when I went to Seattle to visit my best friend, I decided that we had to go to Vancouver, BC, also! Well, the weather was terrible, the Canadians searched our car, and it was cold. BUT, the people were friendly, the Gas Town section was very nice, and Richmond was a nice orientation course for my soon-to-be-happening trip to South Korea. I bought a Canucks jersey there, and really wanted to go to a game, but they were on a road trip. If you’re into Asian culture, I’ve yet to find a more authentic experience in North America than Richmond, BC. Over all, worth visiting, but I don’t feel the need to go back….

I live here. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Well, maybe Costa Rica…

Olympics 2010?

My meetup group is consider taking a trip to Vancouver to see the Winter Olympics next year. I think it would be a great time to visit British Columbia AND experience something I have always wanted to attend.

We’ll see how it pans out.

British Columbia is an interesting place, from what I have seen it is a lot like the US, except with universal health care. =/

i went here for the first (and only time) when i was quite young as a family trip with my parents and younger sister. we drove up the west coast from socal, it was neat. my sister got stung by a bee, and my mom took her to a hospital while my dad took me to a museum of miniatures. my dad also wanted to eat indian food, but didnt know where to go. so he found a phonebook, called an indian family, and we went to eat at some restaraunt. also, these people invited us to their home to eat some homecooked indian food, which was pretty chill.
