Uzbekistan was challenging to me, in every way.

Queues in the airport are horrible! But once you’re out, it’s a nice & calm city. Lots of art cafes with great food too! I love their crafts: the potteries, carpets, embroideries, etc.

It seems boring sometimes, but there are hundreds of hidden places worth seeing. Tashkent has asmany facets as a diamond, and there are people of 125 nationalities. People are the biggest treasure of Tashkent…
Just come in summer (May to October) and you will see.

This was incredible. We were not allowed to enter the mosque here since most of us were women! It was very interesting to see a primarily Muslim city.
