Sibiu

I was born here. I live here. It has a magic atmosphere. I often surprise myself daydreaming about my town and the people who lived here in the 15th century. I love it and i really think that it’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world. :)

Sibiu is one of the greatest cities I’ve ever been ! I’ll definitely come back.

One of the cities really worth seeing in Romania.

The story goes like this…
In a short trip for the new year’s celebration there we were short on food because they were short on staff. So… the food was great but no place to eat it from :D

The other experience was a lot nicer… The food story is about locals that didn’t expect so many tourists…but all in all i had a great time, it was a great time to have fun and do interesting stuff…or at least see or hear :D

So.. for the ones whom are still wonderind wether they should go or not to the European Cultural Capital City, i recommend they should because the town looks great and offers alot culturally speaking, the locals are nice people and i think is something about that city that makes you fall in love with him…

One of the best cities in Romania. Clean and nice and tidy. The governor (german i think) really fixed the city up and it looks great. Was here a lot last summer and love the night life.

Sibiu rocks.

In case you wonder why you would visit Sibiu, it’s (among other possible reasons) because this place allows you a very particular kind of insight into the history of Europe, being miraculously spared the destructions that have marked much of the continent.

I’ve been there and live there for a few years.
The old town area is pitoresque and worth to be wisited.
The german name of the city is Hermannstadt.

...when I visited Sibiu. My father was born in Cluj and when I was three, my parents took me to meet my buna. She was 93 and she died shortly after. I remember very little, but what I do was lovely. I remember certain smells, like wood and the smell of snow in the air, although we went in the summer, I think. I would very much like to go back. Maybe one of these days…
