How this place changed my life

I’ve been here lots of times. Most of them on my way to Zarnesti, and then to Piatra Craiului Mountains and on my way back.
I love this city. The old city is great to walk around.
This is also the place where I got married, and we also thought about moving here (but eventually changed our minds).

You can visit the castle of Vlad the impaler. But there is also a second castle, not on the tourist map and mostly in ruins. Kind of creeped me out.

I saw Boyz II Men live in Brasov, as the finale to a local band contest. There were heaps of locals out to watch the bands, but most of them left before the boyz came on stage, and then they were not very good. It was a very surreal moment. I’m sure they look back on it as a highlight of their career…

Gates to Transilvania

Braşov is at the southern border of Transilvania and is one of the major cities in Romania.

After visiting the churches in the town, one has absolutely to go to Poiana Braşov and take a look at the city from up there.
