Groningen

I lived here for a year. The largest segment of the population is college students so it stays lively, but people don’t get too crazy like in Amsterdam. This city holds a very special place in my heart – I think of it with more fondness and homesickness than the city I grew up in.

I’ve been given the impression that Groningen could be seen as the Amsterdam of the north – is that an apt comparsion?

Will be visiting in November this year, how quickly does Winter come in?
