Toscana aka: Tuscany

it is pure beauty. the people have an appreciation for life, time, food, architecture…i can go on all day about the landscape, the history. everything about this place is rich. i studied here in the summer of 2000. i miss it everyday. i would love to retire here. drink wine and laugh till i die.

Ever since I saw the movie “Under the Golden Sun” with a friend of mine I wanted to go to Tusany in Italy.

My family is from Lucca, Tuscany.
I’ve dreamt of going there since I was little. Maybe one day…:::sigh:::

I would love to go to Italy and learn Italian. Does anyone know of any organizations that set up extended trips to learn the language?

We just missed Sunflower season at the end of August when we visited. 2 weeks earlier and there would have been fields and fields of sunflowers in bloom. Definitely worth a return visit.

I’m going to Tuscany for 6 days during my honeymoon!

I was in Florence in Tuscany for my summer holidays with my parents and one of my sisters. We rented a villa with one big garden and vines. This region is reknown for its wine. The food is delicious: the pizzas, the pastas, etc….
I love the landscape and the light in this part of the country: the green colour matches the terracota soil beautifully.
The people are very nice because they welcome you and are very warm. If you want to rest, go to Tuscany!!! You can visit no only the cost if not culture place: the office museum in Florence, the Pisa tower, etc…
Tuscany is my favorite part of Italy. If you go to Italy be sure not to miss Tuscany.
