I’ve lived in Fukuoka for a year and a half, and I definitely had a wonderful time there. A very liveable city indeed, no wonder it has been voted as the #1 liveable city in Asia.

I have lots of memories and the coolest experience in Japan. I will never forget about it. Some day I will repay them twice. I have my support from Fukuoka. Each time when I get frustated, I will try to change my view by thinking of people whom I met in Fukuoka. It may take me lots of years to complete my mission, I am willing to wait for all these years as long as I will be there again. Because of my determination to revisit them again, I promised myself once I have success in my life I am going to find them. I will be repaying them twice all those happiness and memories they brought me. I promised.

I love Fukuoka, I am planning on going back to Japan next year,
Japan is just an amazing country, the people, the food, the shopping, the people are so polite and well dressed, the streets and houses are so clean

Fukuoka’s a good place to get a feel for an average sized Japanese city, Dazaifu’s nearby and really interesting to visit.

Been here probably close to ten times for about a month at a time minimum. My mom was born and raised in Fukuoka and I love it! The Kyushu area is an amazing place to visit. A mix of cities and traditional Japan. It is a pretty big city, but is not out of control like Tokyo. It is big enought to keep you busy, but small enough to get to know it. Taking the shinkansen to Dazai-fu and “buroughs” of Fukuoka, you wont be disappointed.

The honeymoon’s over – but there’s still a lot to like about this place. Japanese lack of smiles in their own country takes some getting used to (they’re much friendlier away from home), and the haphazard traffic system will keep you alert (keeping left is something that’s only done by cars, the bicycles go a;ll over the place). But there’s lots of opportunities for business and a zillion ways to empty your pockets of all those hard earned yen

Was here for a week with my mom and it was really wonderful. We were able to wear a kimono, be guests at a tea ceremony, had a caligraphy and ikebana lesson, painted ceramic dolls, and of course, tours. If not for the high cost of living, I think I would like to live in Japan.
