Also, eat the churros. I had the tastiest churros when I was in Lima (Miraflores to be exact).

The big museum (archaeological/science/history??) is excellent and worth a long afternoon.

I Want to vist all my family in peru, and a want to snowboard over there as well….I cant wait to go back again…

lima is not bad, but i would say only a day or two in lima…then hit up cuzco area.

Stopped in Lima for a day on my way to Iquitos. Seemed like a fairly normal south American city. Weather wasn’t that great, but there was a star bucks! There are some markets you can go to and buy lots of cool things very cheap. Like a big comfortable Yak fur blanket. I got a shirt, and some pants. IF YOU GO TO PERU DRINK AN INCA COLA FOR ME :) :) :)

well..the last time i was here..was when i was just born..and only stayed here for 3 months afterwards….

I live here! lol I’ve read some of the entries and it seems like everyone just stays around Miraflores but there’s more people! have you been to Jockey Plaza? Caminos del Inca? Both are malls located in Surco. La Molina is also a beautiful district, although not many tourists go there but it’s worth it. but anyway.. just enjoy and have fun because there are lots of things to do!

lima is gorgeous! and the ppl are wonderful! and the food??! dont even get me started man for real! everyhting is grt! VIVA LIMA!

my abuelita Renee was alive. That was years ago… she has passed away and I havent been back there since. However, I’m going back April 2007, for 2 weeks. I’m going with my Dad & my boyfriend. we’re going to see a shaman, visit machu pichu and more
