I’ve been to Grenada three times in the last 15 years and had a blast everytime. I especially recommend:

Laid back, great beaches. It’s the only port I’ve ever been to that smells really pleasant because of all the spices on sale there.

not as vibrant as some of the other caribbean islands, but grenada has some lovely beaches. If nothing else go to visit the beach!! How could i forget that grenada is the spice isle…nutmeg, spice, clove and so many others adding a refreshing fragrance to the air.

Grenada is quiet, almost always sunny, and smells great (imagine nutmeg, cinnamon and 10 other spices in the air simultaneously.) Above is my photo of the Carenage in St.George’s.

I can’t remember much of what I experienced while there, but it was very beautiful scenery. I only wish I was as skilled as photography then as I am now.

Beautiful and calm island.. go hiking in the rain forests near volcano “Grand Etang”. Grenada still sufferes from hurricane “Ivan”, so don’t expect much touristic infrastructure..
People there don’t say much compared to the other islands, but usually they talk a lot about politics. Most of them are direct but very friendly. Don’t go to town when the cruiseships come..
Best rum so far.
