South Korea aka: Republic of Korea

I went here for business trip for a restructure project last October. It was very nice. It changed my perspective that Korean food is actually good =)

never in my life ever wanted to come to Korea

so of course the army sent me here

and i must say its not that bad

i hear Japan is alot better

but i’ve had some great times here met some awesome people (soldiers and civilians) and made some great friends that live around here and have shown me alot

I was 3 when I last went here, but I still remember a lot. It was really pretty and happy. ^^ I liked it a lot and everyone should go here. And my favorite singers are here too. XD

After college (1994), I taught high school English in Chonan under the National Program. I lived with a host family, and had a great experience. I also traveled a lot around the country.

I went back again in 1995, this time teaching at a private academy in Seoul. It sucked in a big way. I would never recommend academy teaching to anyone.

It’s been a few years. I’d like to go back for a visit and see what has changed.

I was in South Korea for 1 year on a military tour up north in Camp Stanley, Uijeongbu. My experience there was everlasting! The Korean friends I made there I still talk to today on the internet and I CANT wait to go back there and I might even decide to live there once I am fluent in Hangul. I’ve never met such great people in my life… when I came back to America it was depressing. America is so effing tainted and South Korea is so pure and respectful, I never noticed it until I spent my year over there. I had the time of my life there from partying with friends (mainly) haha , to going sight seeing all over the peninsula. I used to go to ALL korean towns where there were no GI’s because all they do are go out of the gate off post and spend their whole paychecks on phillipino girls or a.k.a. Juicy girls, that most of them marry in a month or two knowing. Damn sluts just want a green card. But anyways back to the real korea, I want to go back on vacation definitely. No doubt in my mind you will have one of the best times of your life over there unless you go on a military mission.

Everything is cutely arranged in some sort of “room” (bang): karaoke, restaurant spaces, bathhouses, spas.. worth a look. The food is EXCELLENT.

I find this place nice to visit with a lot of exotic cultures that you can experience especially food.

I went to korea when i was 5 to visit my grandfather before he past away.
