Monaco

Everyone from our group loved Monaco. I’m an aquarium enthusiest and I HIGHLY recommend the Musee Oceanographique (Jauque Coustou Aquarium). One of the best I’ve seen. The whole town has a really cool feel. It’s not very big sandwiched in the bottom of France like that but every inch of it is beautiful. The architechture, the cliff lined roads and tunnels. I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about it. I’d go back in a second.

Going to Monaco is best when booking a heli from Nice and flying in with ‘the locals’.

Incredible! One of the coolest places in th world! Tons to do. Awesome hotels, sights, clubs, restaurants! The people are freindly and treat you well. I was treated like garbage in places like Hollywood and Aspen (by the way both absolute slums) and was treated better here than anywhere else I had been. Definitely worth the trip. I would like to return and play some golf here!! One of the few places I have been that exceeded my expectations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monaco may be small, but it can still be difficult to get around solely on foot due to the heat or the steepness of some of the streets.

Jump on a city bus to make your life a bit easier – you can pay on the bus and from memory tickets were 1 euro each.

It really is very small – bordered by France on 3 sides and the Med on the other. It makes for a nice day trip (though perhaps only 1/2 day needed) from Nice.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cafes in the port area seemed to be selling food at “normal” prices. So if you wanted you could have a snack and look at the superyachts moored nearby.

...for me was the Corniches – the three coastal roads that run from Nice through Monaco and on to Menton, made famous by car ads the world over. They are spectacular, especially the middle one (Moyenne Corniche).

Beautiful place to go. Must see!

Nice place to go, you’ll have fun a lot, but you’ll feel you are the poorest dude on this earth there unless you are millionaire :-)

There you can go and have a great time at casino or any restaurant, good to go with friends!

I spent my 21st birthday here and it was wonderful. I was there with my best friends and we had dinner at the Hotel de Paris. It was wonderful.

Monaco is fabulous. It would have to be one of the most appealing little principalities in the whole world. If I was well-heeled, I’d leave Australia and migrate to Monaco and live there for the rest of my life.

Monaco is a “must see”.
