Worth visiting!

Malaysia is fantastic

I absolutely fell in love with the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur (known by locals as KL). The food, the people, the streets, the shopping, the architecture… everything! Would go back to visit or to live! Wonderful town!

The first time I went to this place

I stayed in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, which were both amazing. In Kuala Lumpur I visited the malls and markets and bought some cute things. I also took a bus around the city sightseeing, and went to the top of the tower (even though it freaked me out a little). From my hotel window I could see the Petronas Towers which were absolutely beautiful at night when they were lit up. In Penang I stayed in a hotel that was literally metres away form the sea. On the first day there I met a retired teacher who gave me a tour. I saw temples, drank coconut juice by the side of the road, took a walk through a swamp and ate the best banana pancakes ever in a little cafe. I’d love to go again and would definately recommend it .

a verynice cultural mixed

Malaysia, is where you may find a very blended cultural mix among its people. The chinese, India and Melayu are living in harmony.
Here you may find also, a very nice highland called Cameron Highland. 2 hours trips from KL, its consist of old small cities over the highland where you may find victorian architechtures style.
Unique and for sure , unforgetable.
Things and food are much cheaper in Malaysia compare to Singapore.
If you love to shop, go and find your favorite things in Bukit Bintang, Sungai Wang Plaza or Chow Kit.
U better walk and use public transportation to enjoy KL, the capital city. its worth

Why I want to go to this place

Aaahhh..Malaysia..Truly Asia. And that’s according to Michelle Yeoh. :D When I was still in the Philippines I always wonder why me and my family never visited countries that’s surrounding our own archipelago. On summer vacations we’d visit the U.S., when it’s like a thousand miles away..and a lot more expensive! Anyway, I’ll be visiting Malaysia when I go back home to the Philippines hopefully before the end of the year. If not, then by spring of next year. Oh..I really hope it all works out! So many things to do so little time! Huhuhu..

The first time I went to this place

I went to Malaysia last year in October for a week.. and it was one of the most exciting trips ever.
I went alone and stayed with some friends.. but since they were studying there I had to travel to most of the places alone.. n guess what… it was so easy!! if you are going there, do reember to take the metro as its really cheap and its the best means of transportation..
hope to go there again

Why I recommend this place to visitors

I went on vacation with my mom here. We visited Melaka, Penang Island and Kuala Lumpur. Went on historical tours, had massages, swam, bought trinkets from stall vendors, and basically just enjoyed the time. Malaysia is ok, not that great though. Looks similar to the Philippines, though Philippines is so much better in terms of beaches, urbanization, history, etc.

Malaysians are very nice people. What I remember most about this trip is this young Malay lady whom we asked directions from. She was very helpful, helped me with my map and even called her friend on the phone to confirm that her advice was correct. :) I was so grateful.

When I go back, I’ll be visiting Sabah for its mountains and caves.
