Croatia aka: Hrvatska

I visited Sjeverni Velebit National Park. It’s not that easy to get there, but it’s well worth the effort. You will be rewarded by breathtaking view of Adriatic sea from high above.

It’s a little different from the places I usually want to visit – I don’t know the language at all, I don’t know much of what to expect, I don’t know people from there even. It’s also a little the same – on the Mediterranean and not terribly expensive.
I look forward to it.

this was the first time i went on holidays with my boyfriend, it was the perfect combination of beach, culture and a beautiful nature!

The last time I went to this place it was still Yugoslavia.

Went in April 2007. See blog. It was beautiful, friendly and cheap. Italy without most of the Italians!

Croatia is an amazing country. Beautiful landscape, towns, history.

Tip:
If traveling to Croatia make sure to make a stop at Mostar, Bosnia.

Stop by for a few days, don’t stay too long—it gets boring quickly…

Beautiful village, with wonderful people nice and relaaxing and away from the touristy places. Totally recommend it, it is about 1 hur south of Split on the Coast. I will definietly go back.

Truly a wonderful country. In the summer the coast is dry and hot, perfect for the beach. There is everything from tiny beaches with few people to big resorts that have tons of activites.
The food is very tasty. Lots of grilled meat and fresh fish. I bit difficult for a vegatarian but it’s getting better.

Also a very kid friendly place.
