United Kingdom aka: Great Britain, UK

I really like England, apart from being my ancestral homeland, My Dad is from Manchester and having lived here for 3 years as a kid, it is my second home.

London was as magnificent as I expected it to be, but the beauty of the English countryside caught my interest more. Wales is nice too – more laid back.

Lived here all my life, in England.
I’ve been to Wales too, smells like animals, lots of fields, never sunny.
Positive things now I think..
Well, England is really cool, we have ever changing weather, but that’s a good thing too, because it isn’t always raining, and it’s not always too hot. It can get quite warm actually, you can get a nice tan in summer :)
it’s not all posh like you see in movies, London isn’t even like that, even though I’ve never been xD
Places you should visit, small towns like mine, St Helens, to see what Britain is really like, and there are loads of theme parks, some awesome rides ;D
Cities like Liverpool have good shops, but I guess London is best.
Don’t have a clue about Scotland though :(

is there any of british can take me there?? take me to your country, and take me walkabout around there, please???

I live here, so it’s nothing sepcial to me. Anyone who has been to London, and hasn’t been in the London eye at least once should be held at gunpoint and forced to go on it. lol

So I’ve only been to London, but let me say that it was quite possibly one of the greatest weeks ever. My friend and I stayed at a hostel where we met a great assortment of people from across the world. I’ll never forget those people, they were a blast to live and eat with for a week.

We spent the time pretty much museum hopping, wandering, and catching some theater. Saw Titus Andronicus there, far and away perhaps the best performance I’ve ever seen. Especially when it’s outdoors and there’s a massive downpour halfway through and the show keeps going.

We saw a decent amount of stuff, but there’s no question that we still only saw just a tip of what London had to offer. I absolutely cannot wait for a chance to go back and catch even more. Magnificent, entertaining city.

Plus, I adored the tube. Greatest way to get around.

I’ve been to London twice and gosh, I just adore that city. There’s something for everyone. I visited Camden first time on/in my second trip and it was love at the first sight. Me and my friend spent hours just walking around. Ant the World’s End pub, lovelovelove<3.

The tube is really simple and getting around is easy even if you’re a hopeless case like me. I mean, I’ve got lost tens of times in my own home city but it didin’t happen once in London :D

I can honestly say that “If you’re tired of London, you’re tired of life”.

Back there asap.

I visited the UK when I was 15 or 16, and I think the experience sparked my love of travel. Tradition, architecture, history, parks…there was so much to see that another trip is certainly in the cards for the future.
