Fiji aka: Matanitu ko Viti, फ़िजी,Republic of the Fiji Islands

Went to fiji for our 10th anniversary. We stayed on Taveuni Island at Marava Plantation resort. It was GLORIOUS…..The burre cottages were beautiful. The food and service was great. By far the best part of the whole trip was the people of fiji who were so friendly and loving. Our travel agent told us we would be changed forever, and we of course scoffed. Boy, we we WRONG. As we left the resort, everyone came out to sing us goodbye. Neither one of us could even hold up a camera to take any pictures because we were CRYING too hard. We bought a CD of the local music and now in 2008 over 4 years later we can hardly listen to it without breaking down!!!Go Ahead call us SAPPY, we are used to it. Nothing will ever change our opinion of the place. It truly is our paradise. We hope our daughter and her boyfriend can get married there someday. We challenge anyone to go, and not come back changed for life

The islands are beautiful but stay away from the cities.

I went to Fiji about 8 years ago and it was the most relaxing time of my life. In fact – I was so upset to leave – I could have made FIJI my home. If you have a hectic job and are in high stress most of your year then a holiday in FIJI is the answer. They call it “Fiji time” everything is done in a relaxed fashion, there is no rush – the fijians are beautiful people – the scenery is amazing. Just beautiful – unwind and relax there – exquisite! I’d go back in a heartbeat

I went here for my 7th or 8th birthday, It was for my birthday, it’s such a lovely place! :)

I want to soak up the sun,
Swim in the sea,
Kayak in the rivers,
Stand under a water fall,
Deep sea fish,
Ride a jetski,
Experience a sunset,
Choke on Kava,
Delight on tropical fruit,
Meet new friends,
Make memories,
Party all night…...........

I’ve been obsessed with Fiji ever since I saw a show about it on the travel channel. It’s so beautiful, and the water is so blue, and you can go certain places and believe that you are the only person there. I can not wait to go to Fiji.

I’m making a very short stop (12 hours) here on the way to New Zealand. I’m hoping to just get a glimpse this trip. It may motivate me to take a more lasting vacation here.

I love the beach, clear blue waters and the warm sun on my face. My toes in the sand and the wind in my hair. A cold drink and a sexy man. Snorkling and tanning, dancing and having fun. A new adventure in an exotic place. Someday…
