For young adults, GreenForce is an organization that I’m going with next summer to survey the coral reef on Vanua Levu!
about 1 year agoso lately I have really been wanting to go here. I would love for this to be the first country outside my own that I visit. Now I just have to work out how to get there. I guess I will be saving. Would be great if I could go with my family next winter. Would be soooo amazing if I won a trip to fiji.
over 3 years agoSouth Sea Island is a nice and relaxing place! It may not be ideal for everyone, but i loved it! Lay out and get a tan, play volleyball, snorkel, crab races at night, get a massage or your hair braided, swim in the ocean or the pool, relax in the shade on the hammock, kayak by yourself or with another person, go on the submarine if you dont want to get wet! It is a very tiny island, i jogged around it in less than a minute!
over 4 years agoIt’s been a full ten years since we were in Fiji, and I wonder if this place is still standing. One of the best pizzas I think we’ve ever eaten, loaded with green chiles. The only thing better on the island(s) was all the delicious curry.
over 4 years agoI would love to be married here. Period. WoW!
over 4 years agomake sure to visit and support a fijian village, drink and partake in the kava ceremony, snorkel, visit Castaway island, island hop, get a massage, hike, and start drinking at 10 am =P
over 5 years agoi loved fiji! it was so relaxing and i got the best tan! the whole atmosphere was wonderful! all i did everyday was eat, sit by the pool, eat, sit by the pool, have a shower, go to the villages, eat, and sleep. it was worth the visit!
over 5 years agoI lived on Viti Levu back in the late 90’s for a year and a half.
Fiji’s a great spot, I guess I prefer Samoa over it though for the people….and the kava!
I was excited to be going there on account of their apples but I don’t see none, the place had no apples, just the mangos. I is cheated by the Fiji and will not go back
