I'd love to go
My mum went to Spain on honeymoon 30 years ago and she hasn’t shut up about it ever since. I should pay a visit!

I visited Madrid and Barcelona, both beautiful cities with a lot to do and see. I felt very comfortable in Spain. Everyone was very friendly and non-judgmental of my broken-up, almost non-existent Spanish-speaking skills. I was also surprised by how easy it is to catch a cab in both Madrid and Barcelona. There were “Libre” cabs all over the place!

Love, love, LOVE Barcelona. Passionate, romantic, beautiful, wild and crazy, fun and intense. Need I say more? I could spend weeks exploring the little streets in the Barrí Gotic. Highly recommend day trips to Sitges as well. Only half an hour by train!

I was in the south of Spain for about 6 months. It was life changing.I was in the south of Spain. Everyday, I saw the mountains and the beach. I went coffee shops on the beach. I walked into town like the locals. I practiced my spanish. I drove across the country. I went to musuems. I observed incredible architecture. I made some of the best friend ever. Everything was new to me, and I was like a sponge observing and taking in everything. The food was fabulous. The people were beyond friendly to me. I definately worth visiting.

Spain /sigh/ Well, I just came back from my very first Spain-trip. Barcelona it was. And OH MY GOODNESS, it’s an amazing city! The 5 days I spent there obviously weren’t enough for me so I’m looking forward to go back! And not only to BCN, but other places aswell. A huge España trip would do it for me.

I love Spain. It’s probably the most relaxed and tourist-friendly country I’ve visited. It helps to speak Spanish since people don’t speak English as widely here as they do in many other Western European countries. I would definitely visit Spain again. Madrid, Barcelona, and San Sebastian are amazing cities. Nightlife in Spain is CRAZY!

- Follow some suggestions from Rick Steves’ Europe.
http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/destinations/spain/498barce.htm
http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/destinations/spain/spain1.htm
- Go to all 3 Dali museums. The web site says, “At least two days are needed to enjoy the visits to the three Dalí Museums properly. The distance between the three Dali Museums means that you have to allow for journeys of at least 40 kilometres if you want to go from Figueres to Portlligat (Cadaqués) and another 40 kilometres from Figueres to Púbol (near La Bisbal d’Empordà, heading in the Girona direction).”
- See the buildings of Antoni Gaudi, Josep Maria Jujol Gibert, Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and Lluís Domènech i Montaner.
- In Sitges, see Museu Cau Ferrat and buildings of Santiago Rusiñol.
- Maybe meet in person my friend who lives in Valencia.
