Cameroon

I grew up in this country. Its a beautiful place!

Change of travel plans… Not going to Cameroon in November. This is disappointing as my father worked there in the 70s and it would have been cool to follow his trail… Oh well, maybe later. Not giving up though :)

My job will take me there in November.

This is where my dad started his career in the early 70’s, so this totally resonnates. I’m very excited to go there. I had met some cameroonese in Senegal and they were really sweet.

Douala is a very interesting city with a huge Harbour and friendly people

from my study abroad trip to Japan was from Cameroon. He is a cool guy. I have heard of this place before, but I do not know very much about it. I would love to see it.

I’ve got tons of friends from the Cameroon who really opened up my appetite for this place. We’re waiting to be free at the same time to make the trip together. I even learned the slang, so im already fitting in.

spent four months in cameroon and, while tough at times, am incredibly fond of this experience. will definitely be back…hopefully soon.
