Rumeli Feneri, Istanbul

Rumeli Feneri at the exit of the Bosphorus to Black Sea

Fener means lighthouse in Turkish: A nice little village for those who get tired of city life and who want to take some fresh air within the mixture of the blue and green.. Cows crossing acroos the roads may stop your car for a while; and its is so exciting!! (I love cows).. The geographical setting of Rumeli Feneri is very particular. Since the narrow straits open up to Black Sea here, leaving the Mediterranean behind.
