Lanna Thai’s 71st & Memorial location used to be the Tulsa Brewing Company before it went under. I had fond memories of TBC bacon cheeseburgers from high school, so when it closed I was a little bummed. Especially since I never got to try the beer, though later I would hear that it was merely drinkable.

Oh well, I’ll take Thai cuisine over yet another beer & burger any day of the week and Lanna Thai is my favorite Thai place in town. If it’s your first time, try the staples: spring rolls, satay gai, tom yum goong, panang, and pad thai. And don’t wimp out on spiciness, chili peppers are a key ingredient!

I just bought my tickets and reserved my hotel room. Good food, good drinks, good music, and good friends. I don’t think I could ask for much more (besides good sex and achieving divinity).
