For personally one of the most beautiful cities I’ve visited so far. The core of the town is quite small and you can easily visit the historical attractions by foot. Alternatively you can also go by tram, metro or bus and visit also the outer regions were you can find for example the building of the NS Reichsparteitag in a really in a huge park. The building is no partially a museum which I had no time to visit :( Hopefully the next time.
over 6 years agoDefinitely worth visiting but everything up there is quite expensive partially thanks to 25% VAT. If you want to go to a restaurant and have a nice dinner, better think twice: Most of the dishes cost around 20-23EUR (!).
But there are some quite romatic alternatives: Grilling in the parks. Many public parks allow grilling and also offer part of the equipment.
over 6 years agoDefinitely a nice place but for my taste there were far too many tourists when I visited this town. Perhaps there was some festival or something like that :-?
What impressed me the most was the huge underground car park that seem to extend across the whole city _
