It is the most bizarre city I have been to. I love it, yet it seems somewhat distant and definitely foreign. I would definitely like to spend more time there. Spend time along the creek, go shopping, don’t spend too much time in the malls, the souks are more interesting. Unless you like air conditioning (which sometimes is nice in the afternoons).

Well, I live here, but it’s one of the best cities in the country.

Ok, there are some surreal aspects of SLC, but Utah is the more beautiful state in the country.

This is where I grew up during high school (at kiddie disco) on sunday nights. It made the late 80’s livable.

I grew up here and i miss the lakes, the lakes, the lakes. Get a bike and go around the 22 city lakes. Its pretty alternative and cruchy which I miss also.

Beautiful hills, good weather (in the winter).

The beaches on the Gulf are nice, but it’s not very diverse (and conservative). Miami is fun of course, but the beaches are nasty. The airboats was the most exciting thing I did there.

Drive down Spearfish Canyon from Deadwood/Lead and down. My family lives here so I have been going here my entire life.

This was my least favorite places in Central America. There are some close volcanoes, decent markets, but otherwise not much to do. The people are pretty friendly. Went to a Hare Krishna restaurant. Lots of socialist inspired architecture.

The architecture, ruins and volcanoes make this a treasure. Make sure you stay in the Casa Santo Domingo. It was a convent that made candles and now it is very pretty with old brick walls lined with candles. Amazing.
