I’ve lived there 4 years while I’ve studied there at the univercity.
It’s really a great city for a summer holiday. it’s full of night clubs and restaurants directly on the beach area, it offers a lot of fun at day- time and crazy nights:)The beach is not so nice, I rather recommend the resorts north of the city.
It’s not so nice place in winter- very very cold and awful wind.

I was in Graz because of a Youth project- Eurotrain 2003. We’ve met students from all over Europe.
The Schlossberg was very interesting place, especially the War memories inside.

I’ve been there last year. it’s worth visiting if you like beer of course :) but anyway it’s lots of fun. i’ve had 2 really extreme experiences there :)
I think it is enough to visit the Octoberfest once. The 2nd time it won’t surprise you with anything new and it won’t be such fun I suppose.

Actually I live here for 3 years now…and I’m quiite used to this city I can say.. As the biggest city in Bulgaria it provides a lot of opportunities- for fun, for business or just to spend a few hours. But the citizens of the city are too many for its infrasructure, it’s overcrowded and very very dirty. The life here is much more stressful than any other bulgarian city. But anyway- “it grows but never gets old” :)

It’s one of the most famous summer-holidays-small-cities in Bulgaria actially. It’s part of the Bulgarian South Black sea cost where the resorts are relatively small in comparison with the big North resorts. Altough in the last years is overcrowded with tourists from all over the country and foreigners of course, it still keeps its unique charm. Believe me you will fall in love with this city.
I recommend to walk all over the streets, especially at night. And to discover the nice restaurants on the rocks where the view is just fantastic !
I do not recommend the beach there, there is no place, there are a lot of people.

I would advise you to go there.

I’ve been several times in different cities. It’s quite difrent from the Balkans, the people are more distant and not so open and hospitable, but still it offers a diffrent point of view and is a good leading example of Western Europe. Everywhere is very clean and everything is very well orginized. I’ll keep a lot of unforgetable impressions from my visits there. Not to miss the view from Munich Olympic tower and of course the castle from the old stories- Neuschweinstein.

Unbelievable beatiful, especially across the river in Budapest.

The people were incredible kind and hospitable. Ohrid is a extremely beatiful place.
