Toronto is amazing. If it wasn’t so far away from my family, I’d move there instantly. The first time I went to Toronto (and only) was on my honeymoon. We spent one day driving down to Niagra Falls.

Don’t go to the typical tourist areas! Visit Mexico City and some of the other smaller cities nearby. Go see a town like Taxco, full of silver shops and beautiful architecture. You’ll think you’re in Italy. See how real Mexicans live.

I spent a great semester there during college. The neverending cold and snow didn’t seem to matter much compared to the rich culture and landscape I encountered. I’ve never reflected so deeply on my cultural and religious beliefs as I did there. I recommend learning about literary figures and musicians before going there, then traveling through St Petersburg and Moscow. Russians are very proud of the language, literature, and music. The rural areas are amazing as well.
