University of Chicago is not only a great academic institution, but it is also a great destination for art and architecture lovers, see the Smart Museum, Robie House and countless others. There is a lot of history surrounding the campus including the World’s Columbian Exposition.

Not always the best exhibits in town, but the gift store/bookshop is worth a visit. Great for people who love design books! Plus, there are is some really unique jewelry and designer watches.

This is the best vegetarian food I’ve had. I’ve been all over the country sampling all kinds of vegetarian restaurants, and Cafe Sunflower is by far the best, in taste, flavor and ambience. Even meatlovers love this place. Can’t wait to move back to Atlanta from Chicago so I can eat here again!
