Went with Mom for Spring Training 2008…and want to go back again next year!

My husband I drove down the I-15 from Park City to Arizona…what a beautiful state! I want to go back sometime, when we aren’t burdened with a moving van & the cat!

Cavaliers games at Carson Park are the perfect way to end a day!

Totally recommend the crew of the Lani Kai for coming out snorkeling at Molokini!

Hubby & I enjoyed our stay here…time on Oahu, Big Island, and Maui. Loved Maui & Hawaii, but felt that Oahu was too commercial & crowded for us. We’re already talking about what we’ll do and where we’ll go “next time”!

You really have to stop for at least a little while…though it is a total tourist trap.

When I was little I used to think the “Free Ice Water” gimmick was really cool.

Spent the weekend here with my fiancee—went to Ouimet Canyon and amethyst mines, had great food at Gargoyle’s. I enjoyed the Canadian TV and signage. I think it’s great how proud Canadians are of themselves :) I got waaaay mixed up on the metric system though. $1.16 Canadian dollars per LITER of gas?? What the heck!?

I went to college in LaCrosse and was happy living there for six years between both of my degrees. It’s nice to go back & visit.

I went to Racy’s this AM with my mom after walking on the Trail and we had frozen coffee drinks…very nice :) The new owners have done a really nice job of fixing Racy’s up, and the move to smoke-free was a REALLY great one! Lots of room to read, Internet access, students working on things, and now they are serving more lunch/breakfast foods vs just coffeeshop pastries & such. Definitely worth checking out—can enter from the front side “The Nucleus” on Water Street when they are open too.

Thinking about going here for our honeymoon…but not sure on which islands, etc. yet. Recommendations??
