My transmission went in Palm Springs when I was driving home to Canada, I got it fixed and made it to Sacramento before it broke again. My cousins (whom I had never met) picked me up and rescued me from the side of the highway and I ended up staying with them for 6 months in Placerville. I loved it. Im happy my car died.

I stayed here for 2 months right after the earthquake. The aftershocks were still happening. I spent the whole time in a pool. It was too hot for me !

I went to Mexico with a man I had just met, to meet his family. It was beautiful, and hot. I recommend visiting Mexico as a guest rather than a tourist, I felt safe and protected the whole time. And when I left I felt so much love for the family that I stayed with.
