Lovely sort of improvised village, amazing diving spot, a bit hippy-ish, but so relax.

Place is amazing. Easy on you, green, wild and peaceful. Friendly, arty, natural and human.
Sorry for the clichés, but there are not even close to reality. Avoid Kuta and the south, stay in Ubud, travel on the bikes, enjoy the long evenings.

And this is not a bad place to be a student in. Atmosphere, lovely town, ambiance, punting on Cherwell river, pimms on the meadows etc…

Lived ans studied there for a year. Really interesting place, quite “un-german” in a way. And best breakfasts in the world, for no particular reason.

Not an easy city (life is hard and not spontaneous, but fun and lots of people)

Where family come fromn, and where my holidays are spent.
Place has a so-so reputation in France, but it is actually very fun and nice.
And NOT the cote d’azur, which is refreshing. And has lots fo amazing spots and places nearby.

Where I live and work, so guess I can call it home (and being French too helps yeah)
