sweet home

I grew up in the Chicago ‘burbs and lived in the city for 2 years after college. It was great. I left for career reasons but I would like to return once the whole New York thing is out of my system. And since every-frickin-body I know in NYC seems to want to move there too, it’ll end up being one big party.

A few years ago I tried to get a job as a reporter for the newspaper down there. (I also applied to be a dishwasher.) Didn’t get hired for either one. Fine attempt, though.
