Go… but know someone there to help keep you out of trouble… things are not exactly ‘safe’. Beautiful people & food & country!!!

Here you become one with humanity – it’s not often you have moments to yourself as so many of us are used to… a land full of mystery, beauty, and food!!!

A land in tumultous times, however, there is much history and art to experience. The culture of the Burmese is so gentle and beautiful… truly this is the land of smiles (well beyond Thailand where smiles are not always as they appear)... don’t get me wrong – I love Thailand! When in Myanmar, eat Thai food – it’s excellent. Stay at local places & spend your money with locals… do not try to bargain them to death – give them a break! There are approx three accepted currencies used / accepted inside Myanmar.
