Grew up nearby, even lived there for a year. to be honest, though, I don’t go back very often.
But those of you who whine about how boring Fort Wayne is have obviously never been to north Alabama.
over 6 years agoI’ve lived on the west coast (Seattle), east coast (Northern Virginia), and around the midwest, and I think Tennessee is the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived. I was mildly unhappy to move out of the state (although only by a few miles).
Public services are not so hot though, and the tap water in Nashville sucks.

That should tell you something about the place.
