My grandparents took me on a three month RV-ing trip to Alaska when I was 5 years old, and I’ll remember the experience for the rest of my life. We spent the summer riving through mountains to reach Homer, Alaska where we went on a cruise ship to go whale watching. We never did see those whales, but we saw Puffins (a bird that looks like a penguin) up close and personal and we also went fishing! My trip to Alaska was one for the old memory bank. I loved it.
