Born and raised here in Halifax, I’ve been around the world and I still LOVE coming back to this city. Every year, it’s becoming more and more urban/cosmopolitan but it still retains the small-town feel. I love taking tourists and out-of-towners to the sights around the city. The summers are great, the downtown is easy to get around and the atmosphere is very laid back!

Prepare your whole day at the mall. It took us 3 hours just to walk around 90% of the mall without actually doing anything. Don’t forget to check out the flamingos =)
