Great rollercoaster rides! Recommended for thrill seekers and rollercoaster buffs. I liked the Top Thrill Dragster, even with the two hour line.

I dislike Florida in general, but if I am visiting it’s okay. Too many hurricanes for my liking, but some good places to visit.

We mostly travel to the islands by boat, but the scenic highway 2 is also a decent path. Devil’s Island is the most interesting; the water hits it so hard that it has underwater caves that, when hit with waves, often “spout” through holes over the island. Madeline Island has a ferry from the mainland and is the only island with a full-blown city on it. The water is typically quite chilly as it is Lake Superior. Take caution if boating/kayaking/canoeing/etc. Often people do not realize the strong of Lake Superior’s water. During my last visit while in Cornucopia (a small town near the islands), a girl scout troop from Arizona (I believe) got caught out in the waters during a bad storm and came close to losing their life (when we left we still hadn’t heard of they found the other ten girls); but the leaders just didn’t realize how bad it could get. Be prepared.

I wasn’t taken away with the Dells, but we had a blast with the themed miniature golf. We did go when it was quite cold, so we had purple lips going on the water attractions. The hotels are pretty fun, but most of it is geared towards young children.

I actually don’t really like this town at all; it’s very industrial. However, it has awesome beaches along Lake Michigan, and I hear the ferries across to Michigan are worth the trip. The campus was disappointing. I am sure if I spent more time I would have seen more interesting sites.

Just about everything… I wasn’t expecting it to be like a museum of crazy things! It took a good several hours to get through too! A must see.

Awesome! I’ve even seen celebrities here, it’s that kewl. ;) I loved that there was always something going on, whether it be live music inside or outside or an outdoor movie at night… great for just sitting and relaxing in the signature Union chairs. I would go there frequently to read, write, soak in the atmosphere, and listen to music. Right on a bike path for even easier access.

The best part of the campus is the Union Terrace situated on the lake. Nature is also abundant on campus, an aspect I really liked while I was studying there. People complain about it being a party campus, but I don’t drink or party and still really enjoyed myself. Sure, there’s definitely a party scene, and it can be really disgusting at times (college students don’t know how to pick up after themselves, but that isn’t unique to Madison), but I liked the atmosphere nonetheless.

Madison is awesome! The campus and capital are closely tied, with State Street connecting the two. It has a great atmosphere that I haven’t experienced elsewhere. The capital is highly accessible, and often hosts events on the lawns or the streets surrounding it, such as farmers’ market, tasting festivals, and live music.
