Worth visiting!
Why I recommend this place to visitors
We brew our own beer. At the George the IV, one of the oldest pubs to remain in one family (Until a few years ago). We were a busy railway town and now you can still get Steamtrains from Picton to take you up to the railway museum at Thirlmere. There are many walking tracks and dams to visit and we even have an abandoned bridge and haunted tunnel. We also have a man who was buried in an upright position.
Ghost tours are run often and include a dinner.
