I have never had such a visceral dislike for and discomfort in a city before. Oh, and then there was all the neon.

I’ve been to Galveston numerous times. It’s still one of my favorite places.

From Sedona to Prescott to Flagstaff to Phoenix the entire state is just amazing. It feels like home to me despite my being born in Tennessee and I would love to get back there.

Austin’s pretty awesome. The streets were designed by someone on drugs apparently but the city is nice and the people seem cool as well.

I’d have to actually go to Memphis again to tell you whether or not it was worth as it’s been a long time. There are some great museums for sure but traffic and the roads are a nightmare and it’s not a terribly pretty city, what parts of it I’ve seen. But, as I said, I’d have to go back again. Preferably with some good tips as to where to visit.
