Meriden, Connecticut

Silver capital of the world

Probably not anymore though. Small town right off I-91/691, wedged between Bridgeport, New Haven, and Hartford. Not much happening there. Lived there for 17 years.

Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Great place to live.. not a hot vacation spot

Kind of like a northern city in the south. Not too big. Downtown just recently being revitalized. Artsy lean. Krispy Kreme headquarters. RJ Reynolds Tobacco moved most of its manufacturing out, but at night (north of downtown) you can still smell some curing tobacco. Wake Forest is awesome.
