The first time I saw Rochester it seemed confusing with its streets radiating from downtown like in a spokewheel. Soon the generosity and hospitality of Rochester overcame it’s parochiality.
The well marked seasons grew on me or perhaps grew in me. The history of technological innovation and position as a cradle of spirituality are under estimated: Joseph Smith(Mormons), Roshi Kapleau(Zen), Susan B. Athony(Sufragist), Frederick Douglas(Emancpist) all lived here in a place once populated By the Seneca people of the Iroquoit Confederacy, The first and oldest Democratic Bi-cameral goverment in the world.
