Golden Gate Bridge

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

Nothing special, really. It’s a bridge, and it’s famous, maybe for its views? Surely not its colour, “international red.”

Buena Vista Cafe

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Stumbled across this place, then later learned its history. Birthplace of Irish Coffee.

The food’s mediocre and overpriced, but decent enough. You want Irish Coffee.

Why would you NOT love SF?
It’s just great. You must visit. It’s difficult to verbalize…

Adventure Science Center

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

Cool place for the curious, especially families. I used to love going with my parents back in the day. In summer 2006, there is slated to be a “major announcement” by the museum that is “huge” and “will warrant front-page coverage.” We’ll see.

Gaylord Opryland Hotel

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

The hotel is extravagent, but maybe in a more modern way. What it lacks in stateliness it makes up for in uniqueness. The massive hotel seemingly spans time and place from its New Orleans-themed pod to one mildly resembling Italy. It’s interesting to see the archetectural arrangement, which is horizontal rather than vertical. It’s not really an extraordinary example of one style of archetecture; it’s almost like they just threw it up and let Opryland Hotel grandeur do what it may.

Definitely the best time to visit is the holiday season, for its grandiose decor. However, don’t make a special trip; if you’re shopping at Opry Mills, just pop by next door.
