Texans are great hosts and know how to party! But be careful to observe local laws and etiquette and you’ll have the best time! Also, always remember to bring ID if you want to go to a bar even if you’re a pensioner and remember to stay off private property even if it looks deserted. Many Texans carry guns and will not hesitate to shoot a wandering tourist!

Highly recommended! Good nightlife and great to wander around during the day. Best in early summer. Bicycle is the best means of transport and forget about bringing a car as you’ll have to dump it at the outskirts of town at a paid parking.

If you’re into dance music, Amsterdam Dance Event in October is also a fantastic time to visit when the whole town turns into disco city!

Oslo has just hit the #1 spot as the most expensive city on Earth. But it comes with a friendly population to match and who can complain about prices while being served by a six foot blonde with a perfect smile!

If you’re into sex, sand and house music 24/7 this is your paradise until your money runs out… and even then a little longer until you fall into your hedonistic tomb or the guide from Thompson Travel gets a hold of you or whatever comes first!

But I prefer to stay away from the noise, around San Joan and choose my own party hours.

If you can afford it and have a taste for unusual architecture, Moscow can be fun. But stay clear of the dark underbelly of this strange city and enjoy the fact that Moscow could be one of the most over-priced places on Earth. Somewhat of a status symbol for the cosmopolitans, Moscow runs the gamut from high to low with not enough in between…

A sad excuse for a holiday resort unless you’re under water in which case it’s pretty amazing! But all-in-all Eilat’s much more fun…
