Cape Henlopen was my first time at a Delaware State beach. I went with my boyfriend at the beginning of this summer – we live in Pennsville, NJ which is right across the Delaware River from New Castle, DE. So we figured we’d go to the beaches in DE this summer rather than the stinky, crowded Jersey Shore. I’m glad we did – it reminded me of the Outer Banks in NC. If you want a boardwalk, go to Wildwood, Ocean City, or Atlantic City. If you want a relaxing, quiet day at the beach, check out Delaware!

then this is the place to go! I’ve only been once when I was in high school, but I want to go back again as I am into all the medical curiosity stuff. Not for the faint of heart, as there are some pretty graphic exhibits (babies preserved in jars and the like). Check out the wall of skulls! Creepy!

My mother is originally from Yorkshire and I still have family there. I’ve been to London and places in the South when I was younger, but the last time I visited (June/July 2005) we stayed with my great aunt in a village outside of York. I think I appreciated this trip much more now that I’m older despite not seeing the big tourist sites such as Big Ben. I got to see a lot of the coutryside which I love – the Moors, especially. We also visited Whitby, Kilburn, and Otley among others. I don’t know when I’ll be able to afford to go back, but I’m hoping to take a trip there again with my boyfriend this time.
