Switzerland is one of my favorite places of all time!

Quiet and beautiful and the water is warm enough to swim in. I must return someday!

Great country with so many different landscapes, great food, and so much history.

I’m not going to tell people not to visit, but there are better castles to visit in Germany and with less crowds. My personal favorite is the Burg Eltz in the Mosel Valley (our homebase was St. Goar on the Rhine River). It has been in in the same family for over 800 years, so it has all original furniture and decorations. The hike to the castle is also amazing, one of the most beautiful forests I could ever imagine!

This is one of my favorite places that I visited out of 25 or so cities. Quiet, peaceful, exotic fried food, dogs in baskets on bikes. What is not to love?

Great city! Friendly and easy to get around. Also a great gateway to the rest of Europe!

Belgium was my first country to visit during my backpacking trip in 2005. It was a wonderful country to start in because it is easy to get around, very friendly, and many of the people speak english. And waffels are everywhere!

My favorite is the huge market there and all of the different pet shops they have. You can get a standard guinne pig or go for the gusto with a prairie dog!

Metarie is pretty cool since it is very close to New Orleans and has great shopping and restaurants. I <3 NEW ORLEANS!!!! (and Metairie!)
