Cali, the place of sun

I hadn’t lived there long. I know before I moved to ohio, I remember living with my grandpa for a short time. There, I remember my aunt Jesse’s soft baked chocolate chip cookies and the dogs running around chasing my (then) teenage cousins Marla and Timmy. I remember the bedrooms that my grandpa had. BEAUTIFUL bedrooms, even though it was only a 2-bedroom house, he had that house SPOTLESS. (Maybe because my aunt kept it so clean for all those years) Sighs How I miss that place. Though now my grandpa lives in Springfield in a bigger home and my aunt has long passed away, I still remember the house that brought me so many happy memories and that orange tree that I loved to look at in the summer.

I’ve been here 14 years. Started out when I was seven and just grew from there. Its not the best place in the world, in fact, its really boring. All I’ve ever wanted to do is move away from here, does that make me a bad person?

Beautiful is all I can say

Las Vegas isn’t only about the lights. Its the people that you see walking down the street. Its not so much what you see in the movies. Granted, the places are quite real and quite amazing, but when you see it with your very own eyes you’ll be like a little kid again trying to view everything all at once. Taking in all the beautiful lights of the city and wondering how such a big place can be in a desert. Its something else I’ll tell you. Beautiful as it can be.
