Had a great time at MacWorld 2007 in San Francisco! I would highly recommend both the conference and the city. I never knew a cable car had an underground cable that it grabbed to move up and down the street. Silly me! I’d never seen one in person, however. This was a GREAT trip!

I attended the SITE and FETC conferences in Orlando in March 2006. It is an expensive place to visit but has LOTS to do. Great trip, I’d like to go back again but with my family and with a LOT more money in hand! :-)

I have just been in the airport in Sydney, on my way to New Zealand. So I don’t think this should really count as “visiting” Australia. I definitely need to go back and spend at least several weeks touring the country. Or maybe just hanging out at a beach!

I visited in 1993 after Hurricane Andrew had devastated Miami. I would like to go back and see how things look now.

I love Puerto Rico and would go back in a heartbeat. But maybe not in the summertime. I loved the old part of San Juan, with the restored fort and all the great shopping spots. The people are the best! They talk faster than anyone on the planet I think. :-)

Toronto is bustling with activity and great things to do! I would love to go back.

Amsterdam was ok to visit (I went in the summer of ‘86), and I remember seeing where Anne Frank lived, thinking of how cool the canals would be when they were frozen in the winter, etc. But it is not a scene overall I want to go back to. Can’t say that about many places.

I spent Christmas ‘92 in Puerto Escondido and had a blast. Very “tranquilo,” but plenty to do. Super spot, at the time not very “touristy” compared to other Mexican resorts. Highly recommend it!

In 92-93 I lived in Polanco, in the DF. A couple of days the pollution blew out of the valley enough so we could see the volcanoes to the south from the city. Amazing. I hope someday we are able to have pollution free cars and get industry to clean up its act, so the Valley of Mexico can again look as beautiful as it must have in the 1500s before Cortez arrived.

I spent about a week in Ireland in 1991, right before and during New Years for the World Debating Championships. Such a beautiful country. Too bad that to be so green, it has to rain so much… :-)
