Best chocolate mousse ever!

Always busy, quarters are cramped but the shrimp shumai are awesome and it’s open late, so if you’re looking for somewhere to eat after a concert, this is the place – they serve ‘til at least midnight.

It’s all about the clam bake dinner buffet… hopefully they still offer it! =)

I worked here as a hostess during my Walt Disney World College Program internship.

Order the trout – delicious and comes with a creamy risotto and green beans, yum! Skip dessert though, not as good as the rest of the meal here. Soups, appetizers/salads, and the yummy, complimentary flaming cheese with breadsticks are all wonderful.

They didn’t want to seat our party of 3 in the (nearly empty) dining room since we weren’t sure if we would order a full course dinner or just appetizers and dessert. Told to cram into a small bar table in the [then] smoking section? No, thanks.

Edit: was a fan of this restaurant in Fort Lauderdale (on Las Olas), but only the appetizers proved rewarding in the Denver one (corn empanadas and arepas – ask for them with mushroom). Fish left a lot to be desired… service attentive but was very slow amidst a large party, and the quarters are cramped.

I met this cutie there! He didn’t have this not-so-furry friend with him though, we ran into that guy once we got to Colorado. Apparently he’s a Boulder beaver. Sorry to deprive you of the shots of me kissing the Boulder toad or each of us on the Boulder bunny, but I’m afraid it’s one photo per post ‘round these [43] parts…

Weekdays from 12pm – 8pm = $1 burgers (an extra buck for cheese, turkey burger, veggie burger, salmon burger, or to add fries)! Cash only at Bukowski’s so hit the ATM first and stagger out later.

This little outdoor snackery was a great place to stop and relax for me back in summer ‘95, when I was getting a little weary from working hard at fulfilling this goal. Best guacamole and a nice view of the World Showcase Lagoon.

I recently made a trip back to Boston and discovered that this wonderful bakery with the best German chocolate cake slices ever ended up closing shop some time after 2001. Rest in peace, Fantasia… you will be missed.
