Lived in Delhi for 3 years! Was so so sick the first year, homesick and physically sick, but the next two years were a blast. Absolutely loved the city…
despite the sooo burning summers, despite the sooo cold winters, despite the dust, despite the sometimes rude people, despite the monsoons where the streets were flooded with yuky water. Wonder why i liked it at all there,… despite not making any good friends!
I suppose this is the place which really helped me ‘find myself’ since it really tried my patience. The food is great (we really went overboard with eating out, roadside—even had to get operated cos of that!!!), the shopping is aweeeeeeeesome, walking around Janpath and CP definitely heavenly…
Delhi definitely has IT.
