Betsy went on her annual trip to Kathmandu last Friday. She has so many amazing stories to tell about her trips to all these wonderful exoctic places. Someday, soon, I hope, to go there and experience Nepal myself and pick out my own phurba. I am sure I will love the one that she picks out for me but I like to be able to touch it first.
over 4 years agoI remember grandpa had a photo of the Temple of Heaven hanging in his bedroom. Not sure why. Maybe it reminds him of his homeland.
over 5 years agoSo many beautiful things to buy and so little money…so I did mostly window shopping instead. Got to get there early so you are not bumping into other tourists all the time in the tiny shop space. I bought a set of dematasse for Tina and they are sitting somewhere in my basement…
Finally got a glimpse of that beautiful mansion at the top of the Spanish steps (can’t remember the name of the movie that was filmed there) – my dream house!
