Sardinia also known as Sardegna in Italian
It is a lovely island located west from the main land of Italy. There are 3 major airports to access the island, as well as, many ferries from Genova and Naples including ferries from France and Spain. We travelled mainly in the North/Northeastern area called Costa Smeralda where there are many breath-taking beaches and view of the sea and marine life. There are many recreational homes/apt that are in this area for local and international travellers to use while visiting. Though highly recommend a rental vehicle while visiting as public transportation is not very reliable and not very accessible to all the areas.
