As a teenager I spent every weekend here and I absolutely love it.

I love this city with all of my heart! Maybe because this is where my family lives/is from!

Go to DisneyWorld etc, just to say you went, you were appalled by it, and you left.

Horrible, but worth visiting twice just to double check. Or 3x to “triple check”.

I’m not sure what is more obnoxious: the Versace mall thugs, the fratty night life, or the plastic surgery victims in the Escalade on the cel phone changing 3 lanes at once on Peachtree with no blinker trying to keep an appointment for “Gwyneth” highlights at Van Michael. The Target with an escalator for your cart? The creepy brothels? Club URANUS? The CHEESECAKE FACTORY?! Blahhhhhhh.

I recommend only one thing about Buckhead. The Swissotel. Corner Suite if you can. So worth it.

Not that great. You might meet the 10 remaining cool people there, if they haven’t already left (or been run out of town by meth addict rockabilly retards).

I bartended last summer at the Hollywood Grill, aka the Historic Chuck Wagon skid row honky tonk of Oregon Hill’s creepy violent past.

All my cute arty VCU student friends have taken over this neighborhood. Its great. Riding bikes and party hopping, getting a Super Chill at Fine Foods, or just hanging out on the porch waiting to go to 821 for brunch, every day is wonderful and amazing. Its like your life has become a vacation.

I left my heart in RVA! I love Richmond!

Portland: great coffee, food, art, music scene, vintage shopping, mold catalyst…

But… it is JUNKY SCENESTER hell.

So depending on how much of that you can tolerate…
